Work experience

• Aug, 2009 to Present - Hazardous Studios - Owner

Hazardous Studios has produced three local 30 second commercials for broadcast. Companies include Western Snowplows, Blizzard Snowplows, and combined commercial for Trailercraft inc. These commercials included editor, logo design and animation, basic sound mixing, color correction, and prepping spots for broadcast delivery.

• Dec, 2009 to Present - Frostline Productions, LLC - Freelance Editor

Responsibilities at Frostline include Assistant Editor to Richard Cooper, on Nationally televised reality series R5 Sons Alaska; Responsibilities include prepping string outs of hour-long R5 Sons episodes, complete with interviews, audio tracks, and essential graphics when needed. The project also called for roto-scoping people out of certain scenes, and at times bug removal from the cameras lens using motion tracking and roto-scoping. A great majority of the footage for the reality series was shot with a single camera, so my ability to properly use cut-aways and improvise when needed has been essential to leveraging Mr. Coopers time on the final product.

• Camera Assistant / Production Assistant / Grip experience

Experience includes grip and 2nd unit camera assistant on T.A.P.S. documentary pilot, a SprocketHeads, LLC production, as well as camera assistant, grip and logo animator for FrostLine Productions for Dena'ina Center marketing video.

 

Additional information

My strongest attribute is my willingness to learn, and my ability to take criticism effectively and benefit from it. My philosophy “your not learning if your talking, only when your listening.” has helped me gain a lot of knowledge in the time I have been in this industry. I am well versed in NLE programs such as Final Cut Pro and Sony Vegas Pro. My greatest weapon is my Adobe After Effects work. I am effective at motion tracking, roto-scoping, logo animation and design, compositing, and other essential After Effects techniques, all while delivering products on tight deadlines.
